The apartment is located between the Seine River and the famous historical Place de la Bastille, neighboring the Marais district. Right next to a lovely sailing port, to parks (especially the "Jardin des Plantes"). You just need to walk 5 minutes to be in the historical heart of Paris, the Marais district, the "Place des Vosges" and even Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Ile Saint-Louis, which you can reach walking along the Seine river.

The Place de la Bastille is well served by 5 metros and 2 stations where you can get a direct train for visiting famous tourists monuments and tourists attractions, like the Royal Palace of Versailles, the medieval cities of Provins, La Vallee de Chevreuse, Euro Disneyland, and you just need around 30 minutes to be at the Orly or Roissy airports.

La Bastille is one of the most popular district of Paris. It is very appreciated for its prodigious Opera, its theaters and cinemas. Its cafes, discos and restaurants are frequented by both seniors and juniors, and will offer you unforgettable nights.

BEDROOM: The quiet and spacious bedroom (180 sq/f) has a comfortable double bed, a large dresser and a desk. It is warm and colored, decorated with Indian wall covering. You get the access to the cable TV (with CNN, BBC World and numerous international channels), you will also find a VCR and a stereo. A large French window opens up on a 40 sq/f sunny patio, which is over a quiet street.

BATHROOM: The bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom and has a shower, a sink and a toilet.

KITCHEN: You will find in the fully equipped kitchen a washing machine, a dishwasher, a fridge, an oven, burners, and a coffee machine.

This apartment is fully equipped with linens and dishes.

ABOUT THE AREA:
Parisian people use to celebrate the important French political or cultural events in the Place de la Bastille. The French revolution started in this mythical place. In July the 14th of 1789 (the National Day) Parisian people invaded the massive medieval prison called "la Bastille" in order to liberate the prisoners and rid France of the king's tyranny.
